The City Walls, the most complete in Britain, offer a fascinating 3 kilometre circular walk around Chester - the best way to see its attractions.

The unique world-famous Rows - two-tier medieval galleries with superb shops of international renown.

The Eastgate Clock- the most photographed timepiece in the world after Big Ben.

The Roman Amphitheatre - the largest arena ever uncovered in Britain.

Chester's Weir on the River Dee was built by the Normans and is the oldest surviving mill dam in Britain.

Chester Cathedral - the fourth most visited Cathedral in Britain.

There is also a world-class zoo, famous racecourse, fantastic pubs, restaurants and many other attractions.

On the lighter side, (and we trust that no-one will take offense to our mentioning this) there is evidently a law dating back to Roman times that remains in force today prohibiting the Welsh from being within the Chester City walls after dark

Information about the Dawsons Music Chester Shop

Dawsons originally came to Chester in the Forum Centre (in a former dress shop!) in 1972. The shop then moved to Pepper Street to replace The Pine Centre, which closed in December 1993, and Dawsons opened its doors in January 1994.

It is now the biggest music store with the widest range of instruments in the area. Customers travel from North Wales as far away as Holywell, Wrexham, Wirral and even Staffordshire!

The location is convenient with a multi-story car park directly above and another across the road. It is also on the park & ride route with a bus stop less than 300 yards away. The train station is approximately fifteen minutes walk away.

Take up the 10 Minute Challenge! In collaboration with Roland UK, we invite you to learn to play the piano in just ten minutes. If you've never played before, you will be able to play a simple tune by the end of the lesson.
